AbleGamers creates opportunities that enable play in order to combat social isolation, foster inclusive communities, and improve the quality of life for people with disabilities.
By highlighting the experiences of players with disabilities, sharing the feedback of our Player Panel, and working with industry leaders and developers to create more accessible gaming technology and experiences, we’ve made a long-lasting impact on the gaming world.

We believe that the gaming hobby has one of the greatest communities in the world today. It is filled with people who want to help those who are not as fortunate than themselves. They want to show them the power of play in their lives – and they want to do it by harnessing the games they love so much. We put together all-day gaming events where we collect donations either through participation in global giving initiatives like Extra Life, or by partnering up with local charity organizations such as Love True directly.

"When I decided to start teaching kids to design games, I scoured the internet and had a hard time finding good resources. I cobbled together what I could find, and then over the years have changed, added, modified, and created so much new stuff that I thought it was a shame that no one else could see it or use it."

We deliver bundles of games to organizations that serve players of all ages (children’s hospitals, senior centers, shelters, halfway houses, boys and girls clubs, schools, libraries, even prisons).
We oversee two established award programs for board and card games: The Major Fun Award and The Spiel of Approval. These awards are internationally recognized as independent, objective seals of quality and integrity.
Tabletop Alliance is a completely volunteer run 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and we are thankful to further the use of games by educators, librarians, and community leaders. Through our network we have impacted more than 8,700 students in the US from coast-to-coast.
We do this by cultivating “Guilds” which are pockets of educators and community leaders who are making local impacts on their local population of students through games. More importantly though is that we serve as a resource and support system to be the ally for these Guild Leaders, encouraging them, celebrating them, raising their impacts to new levels, and connecting them with others.
